A beautiful island in south west Florida located on the Gulf of Mexico and linked to the mainland by a causeway. Home to J.N. "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge, 6,400 acres of mangroves and home to a large variety of bird species. Most photographs shown in this gallery were taken at the refuge or on the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands.
